Cancer Care That Brings Hope Home 

A cancer diagnosis changes everything. In that moment, what matters most is access to exceptional care and the support of loved ones close by. Valley’s new comprehensive Cancer Center is making both possible. Because when care is close to home, so is hope.

Our Cancer Center is becoming a reality through the generous support of our donors. To complete the final two phases (Phase 1C and 2) and bring all cancer services together under one roof, we need our community’s continued support help to raise the remaining $27 million.

Phase 1C: Café 180
Phase 2: Radiation Oncology

A cancer journey is exhausting for patients and caregivers alike. Phase 1C will also add a welcoming café, a beautiful space filled with windows and natural light for quiet respite along with healthy and nourishing snacks and meals for Cancer Center patients. It will also be a space shared with caregivers and staff. Sometimes the smallest comforts make the biggest difference. See inside the space. 

Phase 2 will bring Radiation Oncology, Oncology Support Services, and an Interdisciplinary Tumor Board and Conference space to the 1st Floor of the East Pavilion. Valley offers advanced radiation therapies for treatment of both cancerous and non-cancerous tumors. Our experienced specialists consult with our patients to develop the best care plan tailored to their specific needs, with quality of life in mind. Phase 1B: Opened August 31, 2026 and Now Caring for Patients

Five specialty clinics now share one warm, connected space, all designed to bring more care, closer to home for our patients and their families. For the patient facing a new diagnosis, for the caregiver coordinating different appointments, and for the providers who can now collaborate steps apart instead of buildings apart, Phase 1B opening means care delivered, connected, with compassion.

And with 10 new exam and consult rooms, the Multidisciplinary Clinic will expand beyond breast cancer to serve patients with other types of cancer.

Phase 1A: Open Since February 2025

Our new Cancer Center is already changing lives, treating 40% more patients than ever before. The Infusion & Immunotherapy Center surrounds patients with warmth through the new recliners and inspiring messages that offer encouragement during each visit. From chemotherapy and immunotherapy to a full network of patient navigators, social workers, and wellness support, patients receive coordinated, compassionate care all in one place.

Why This Matters Now

Over the past five years, cancer has remained the leading cause of death within our public hospital district, and we've seen a 25% increase in cancer patient volume. Valley's existing clinics have outgrown their spaces, care coordination has become increasingly difficult with providers spread across our 33-acre campus. For many in our community, traveling to Seattle for frequent treatments simply isn't feasible. Care close to home means fewer miles, fewer barriers, and more time surrounded by trusted providers and the people who matter most.

Every phase we complete sparks hope and possibility for patients and families in our community. Valley is committed to ensuring everyone receives exceptional care close to home from people they know and trust.
