Volunteers in Action
Care For Our Community Like Family

volunteers.jpgEvery hour you donate and every smile you share with others can impact someone's life. Consider becoming part of our Volunteer team and using a few hours of your time and talent each week to give back to those in our community who need support. Valley volunteers are goodwill ambassadors, spreading hope and cheer, providing vital assistance for our patients and visitors. Whether serving as a greeter at the Information Desk or escorting visitors, helping in a support department, or supporting in a clinical area like the Breast Center, volunteers are a treasured part of our Valley family, contributing the most important of all ingredients—love and concern for people.

Valley has nearly 250 active volunteers who donate approximately 40,000 hours each year in many different departments and roles throughout the organization. Supplementing the services performed by our staff, volunteers are an integral part of our healthcare team and valuable contributors who provide special added touches that make a patient's stay more comfortable.

To show our appreciation for your service, we offer volunteers several benefits, including:

  • Complimentary meal with each shift worked
  • Volunteer recognition events & activities
  • Enrollment fee waived at the fitness center, and a monthly discounted price
