We are pleased to announce that a new agreement has been reached with Aetna. This allows Valley to continue to be an in-network provider for Aetna-insured patients and will cover services provided since previous contracts ended June 1, 2025. We understand how important it is for our patients to retain in-network access to the doctors, programs, and expert care teams they know and trust. Thank you for your patience throughout this process.

Telehealth Video Client Change in Epic

Valley has transitioned from Zoom to Epic Video for telehealth video visits. Why did we transition?

  • Lower cost
  • Improved usability for patients/providers
  • Improved security--providers no longer need to admit patients to the session

Providers will continue to select the "Connect to Video" button on the iPad or in Epic on the computer.

A hardware test window will appear in the Internet browser: Safari on iPad, Edge/Chrome on computer. (Note: Does not work with Internet Explorer.)

After selecting "Join Call" the Epic video will open.
