Ever wonder why we love glass floats? Fishermen once used them to keep their nets and lines afloat in the water. At Valley, our staff and volunteers hold up our patients, our community, and one another the same way, with care that feels like family.

Help us fill the gabion!
This Thankful Season, you can thank the people who make a difference by adding a float to the Thank a Caregiver gabion in The Oasis, our new garden on the 2nd floor at our Renton campus. It’s a peaceful space for patients, families, and staff to pause and recharge.

Each hand-blown glass float, crafted by our community partner Renton Art & Glass Studio, honors someone special. As new floats are added, the gabion fills with a little more color, light, and a lot of thanks. Only 150 more to go!

Celebrate someone at Valley
Recognize a current or former staff member, volunteer, team, friend of Valley, or community member who has given or received outstanding care.

How it works

• Floats: $100 each, with discounts available for multiple floats
• Blown glass heart: Add $50, and the person you’re honoring will receive a glass heart delivered with your personal message of thanks
• Acrylic heart stand: Add $5
• Select a heart color below; float colors will coordinate with our standard palette

All proceeds go to our Thank a Caregiver Fund, which supports wellness initiatives, recognition programs, and team engagement activities. Every purchase includes a tax-deductible donation to Valley.
