Provider Bio

Jennifer M. Zumsteg, MD, has an interest in acquired brain injury and neurorehabilitation care across the care continuum. She strives to improve community health and well-being through treatments that optimize function to meet individualized patient goals, providing evidence-based physical medicine and rehab (PM&R) medical consultation, and contributing to safe care and innovation in high-functioning health care teams.

Dr. Zumsteg received her medical degree from the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine and completed PM&R residency at University of Washington. She is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and brain injury medicine. In her commitments to professional service and advocacy she is active as a volunteer with organizations including the American Board of PM&R and the American Academy of PM&R.

Dr. Zumsteg grew up in Lake Tahoe and continues to apply in her patient care the values she saw growing up in the mountains including the benefits of a connected community, valuing diverse perspectives, and creative problem solving. Outside of work Dr. Zumsteg enjoys art and music, cooking, reading, and spending time in the great outdoors with friends and family.
