On April 22 we had a pipe elbow failure in our Emergency Department (ED) causing a significant water leak. Crews are assessing the impact and we are in the process of water abatement. Our ED is open, but several rooms are currently offline which could increase wait times. Some surgeries are also being rescheduled.

Dr. Zomer, an American citizen born in Israel, grew up in Oklahoma and completed her undergraduate work in Texas and New York. She returned to Israel to attend medical school at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. Dr. Zomer completed her residency in OBGYN at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. She cares for women of all ages and has special interest in performing laparoscopic surgery and educating teenagers about women’s health issues.
