On April 22 we had a pipe elbow failure in our Emergency Department (ED) causing a significant water leak. Crews are assessing the impact and we are in the process of water abatement. Our ED is open, but several rooms are currently offline which could increase wait times. Some surgeries are also being rescheduled.

Kevin Yuan, MD provides care as a hospitalist at Valley Medical Center since 2016. Dr. Yuan holds special interests in the training of future medical providers, including medical students and resident physicians.
Dr. Yuan received his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and completed his internal medicine training at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is board-certified in internal medicine and is a member of American College of Physician and Society of Hospital Medicine. Dr. Yuan speaks both Mandarin, Chinese and Japanese.
