Provider Bio

I have lived my entire life in the greater Seattle area and inherited a love for the rich geography and communities. Since I was a kid, I have always wanted to be a doctor so I could help people. While I was getting my biochemistry degree at Seattle Pacific University, I explored healthcare through following
physicians in their practices and volunteering in the hospital. After that, it was clear to me that medicine was my calling.

I attended the University of Washington School of Medicine and was drawn to the family medicine community because of its incredible members and extensive involvement in education and advocacy. Now, I am excited to stay here for my residency training at Valley Family Medicine.

There are many elements of family medicine that are amazing. The one that is most important to me is building long-term relationships with people and being present to comprehensively address their health needs. Some of my other interests include preventative healthcare, addiction medicine, psychology, chronic disease management, palliative care, and procedures.

When I am not working, my time is enjoyably spent with my family and church community. Being in Seattle, I have also cultivated an unusual love for being outdoors and making coffee. While I am not the biggest fan of sports, I would not turn down an opportunity to cheer for the Seahawks or Sounders and partake in a potluck.
