The Desimone Levee on the Green River failed and is under repair. The hospital is above the flood zone and currently in no danger of flooding. We evacuated our Time Square and Kent Station Clinics and our Lind Avenue locations. Several locations are experiencing staffing issues due to severe traffic impacts. Impacted patients are being contacted to reschedule appointments. Please be safe, do not drive or walk through standing water, and call 9-1-1 if you need emergency evacuation assistance.

Naeima Santana, RD, CDE, is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator at Valley Lifestyle Medicine. Naeima graduated with her undergrad from Bastyr University in 2015 and moved on to complete a fast pace master’s degree program at Texas A&M University in 2016. She joined Valley in January 2019 and divides her time at both Maple Valley and Covington lifestyle medicine locations. Prior to Valley, Naeima worked as a consulting dietitian in South King county region where she earned experience in nutrition therapy for a wide variety of conditions including heart disease, renal disease, diabetes, obesity and many more. Naeima completed all the requirements and earned her title as a Certified Diabetes Educator in 2019.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dog (Mango), traveling to sunny beaches, and enjoying a nice meal with friends and family.
