NOTE: Dr. Shieh will be transferring her practice to the Kent Station Primary Care Clinic starting July 1, 2023.

Cindy Shieh, DO, has an interest in helping others achieve a healthier lifestyle by discussing diet and exercise regimens and battling the common diabetes and hypertension as well as many others. With an osteopathic medicine background, she understands body mechanics and will be a guide to help relieve muscle tension and pain. Preventive medicine is extremely important to her and being a partner to her patients' medical decisions and lives.

Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Shieh has been all over the country and is now hoping to call Washington her new home. She attended Cornell University for her Bachelor of Science degree and then spent some time in Boston to be a research assistant for Reach Out and Read and pediatric development. She then discovered her love for medicine and human interaction so she went to Touro University Nevada to pursue her dream of becoming a family medicine physician.

Outside of work, Cindy loves to explore new foods and indulge in her favorite oldies, go on hikes and runs with her husband, go to museums in new cities, draw with colored pencils and acrylics, sing like she's on a Broadway stage, binge TV shows, and read fiction and fantasy novels. She is so excited to make new friends and join the Valley Medical Center family.
