Brett Steinmetz, MS, PA-C, has five years of experience caring for and diagnosing adult patients with acute neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, Guillain-Barre syndrome, stroke, seizures. He offers seizure management, diagnostic lumbar punctures, and treatments for various acute neurological conditions.

Brett started his career in sports medicine after graduating from University of Montana with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. He was an athletic trainer and strength & conditioning coach for University of Great Falls (now Providence- MT) helping college athletes with orthopedic injuries and rehabilitation. He then attended University of Washington school of Medicine - MEDEX PA program. He completed an elective neurology rotation at The Queen’s Medical Center, Honolulu, Hawaii and knew neurology was his future area of medical practice. After graduation he passed his NCCPA national boards and has worked as a neurohospitalist for the past 5 years. He is board certified by the NCCPA, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Associates, and member of the American Academy of Neurology.

When he is not working, you may find him at the gym, biking, on the water or at a local brewery or coffee shop experiencing the best drinks in the PNW.
