The Desimone Levee on the Green River failed and is under repair. The hospital is above the flood zone and currently in no danger of flooding. We evacuated our Time Square and Kent Station Clinics and our Lind Avenue locations. Several locations are experiencing staffing issues due to severe traffic impacts. Impacted patients are being contacted to reschedule appointments. Please be safe, do not drive or walk through standing water, and call 9-1-1 if you need emergency evacuation assistance.

Allen Sy, MD, is a general internist and hospitalist at Valley Medical Center. He has a special interest in caring for adults hospitalized for non-surgical illness in the acute care and intensive care settings. Dr. Sy is passionate about delivering high quality and evidence-based medicine to all his patients.
Dr. Sy grew up in South Seattle, not too far from Valley Medical Center. He completed all of his training including undergraduate, medical school, internal medicine internship, and residency at University of Washington. In his spare time, he enjoys trying new restaurants, weightlifting, and getting outdoors with his wife and corgi.
