Thia Riewe, DNP, ARNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner working at the High-Risk Screening & Genetics Clinic located at Valley Medical Center. Thia strongly believes that by combining our compassion with evidence-based practice/medicine, collaborative and supportive environment, and commitment to excellence, we will make a difference in improving the quality of patient care anywhere and everywhere we practice. She is committed to delivering the highest quality of care starting with holistic patient and family-centered care plans through collaborative work between healthcare professionals including patients and their families.

After earning her master’s in business administration in Germany, Thia worked for the hospitality business in Seattle while volunteering in a hospital. This volunteer work ignited her interest in healthcare. Thia started her nursing career in 2013 as a registered nurse working on cardiac/neuro/surgical telemetry units. She then continued her career and education to become an advance registered nurse practitioner. Thia received her Bachelor of Science in nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice at University of Washington. She holds a national certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Thia has worked in both inpatient and outpatient areas during her role as a provider.

Thia is fluent in German, Thai, and English. Outside of the workplace, Thia enjoys hiking, running, road & mountain biking, cooking different cuisines, and spending time with family, friends, and her dog.
