Valley has been working hard to limit the impacts of a nationwide shortage of IV fluids as a result of Hurricane Helene. We are safely conserving supplies where possible and have rescheduled some non-emergent procedures. We appreciate your understanding and hope to be back to normal operations soon.
Rodney Riedel, MD, received his medical degree from New York Medical College and completed his residency in family medicine at Valley Medical Center. He also completed a sports medicine fellowship at University of Connecticut. He is board-certified in family medicine and sports medicine.
Dr. Riedel enjoys taking care of people of all ages and treating a variety of medical problems. He applies his sports medicine background and training to treat aches and pains in all age groups, and is a proponent of exercise and developing healthy habits to maintain overall health. In his previous practice he worked with the local high school to care for students and student athletes and he is excited to continue that care in Maple Valley.
Dr. Riedel went to high school at Kentridge. After practicing medicine in New York for 10 years, he is happy to return to the northwest and be close to home.
In addition to practicing medicine Dr. Riedel enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Together they enjoy an active lifestyle through skiing, running, soccer, and exploring nature. They are all very excited to be a part of the Maple Valley community.
