Provider Bio

Dr. Markegard received her medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California, and completed her residency at the University of California, Davis Mercy Medical Center in Redding. Prior to moving to the Pacific Northwest, she was a partner in private practice in California.

Dr. Markegard provides care to families and individuals of all ages. Her professional interests include women's health, pediatrics, and preventive medicine.

Dr Markegard is the recipient of the UW Cares Award which recognizes a provider who is considered to exemplify what it means to practice the UW Med Service Culture Guidelines where Patients Are First.

Dr. Markegard was voted "Best Physician" by readers of the Maple Valley/Covington Reporter.
