Reza Masoomi, MD, is an interventional cardiologist who is board-certified in cardiology, echocardiography, internal medicine, and interventional cardiology. He also holds certifications as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) and in Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (CBCCT). Dr. Masoomi is highly specialized in the treatment of complex coronary artery disease, including chronic total occlusions (CTO), as well as peripheral vascular disease. He is dedicated to performing advanced coronary interventions using cutting-edge technology, always prioritizing both patient safety and exceptional outcomes. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Masoomi has a strong interest in outcomes research, with a focus on improving patient care and long-term results in coronary interventions.
Dr. Masoomi completed his interventional cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai-Fuster Hospital, Icahn School of Medicine in New York City. He then spent two years as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Arizona, before moving to Washington, where he completed a complex high-risk coronary intervention (CHIP) fellowship at University of Washington.
Outside of his professional career, Dr. Masoomi enjoys traveling, photography, skiing, and spending quality time with his family.
