Provider Bio

Jeonghun (Daniel) Moon, MD, RhMSUS, provides care for a wide range of general rheumatologic conditions, which include rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, polymyalgia rheumatica, vasculitis, gout, pseudogout, Sjogren syndrome, systemic sclerosis and myositis. He is particularly interested in musculoskeletal ultrasound evaluations and ultrasound guided interventions; diagnostic ultrasound evaluations for rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthritis (enthesitis) and crystal arthropathies (gout and pseudogout); assessment of inflammatory arthritis disease activity and monitoring therapeutic response; ultrasound guided aspiration and injection for accuracy, safety and better clinical outcomes.

Dr. Moon was born and raised in South Korea, and received a medical degree from Yonsei University. He completed an internal medicine training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY and a rheumatology fellowship program at University of Washington in Seattle WA. Prior to joining Valley Medical Center, he practiced rheumatology for three years at Polyclinic. He has been nominated by his peers as a rheumatologist "Top Doctor" in 2019 in Seattle Met magazine.
