Alexis Mettler, RD, CDE, is a Seattle native and earned her Bachelor’s degree from The Evergreen State College. While attending the Seattle Culinary Academy, she discovered the field of dietetics; her nutrition instructor sparked the idea of helping people lead healthier lives through nutrition. Alexis went on to earn a Master’s degree in nutrition from Bastyr University in 2012, with clinical nutrition internship training at Oregon State University. Outside of work her interests include, cooking, running, hiking, and chasing after her young son.
