On April 22 we had a pipe elbow failure in our Emergency Department (ED) causing a significant water leak. Crews are assessing the impact and we are in the process of water abatement. Our ED is open, but several rooms are currently offline which could increase wait times. Some surgeries are also being rescheduled.
Toy (Annie) Lee, MD, has an interest in pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, urinary leakage, and pelvic floor dysfunction. She is fellowship trained and board-certified in obstetrics & gynecology and also in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Lee grew up in Houston, Texas and after graduating from University of Texas at Austin, she received her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. She competed her residency in obstetrics & gynecology at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas and then pursued further subspecialty fellowship training in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery (urogynecology) in Rochester, New York. She then returned to Texas and was on the faculty of University of Texas Medical Branch as an assistant professor for three years. Outside of work, Dr. Lee enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time with family.
