Elaine Liu, MD, is board-certified in internal medicine, geriatric medicine, and hospice & palliative medicine. She strives to provide holistic and supportive care to those with multiple chronic conditions and life-limiting conditions, particularly in the older adult population. She believes in honoring what is important to people at every stage of illness.
Dr. Liu received her medical degree from National University of Singapore. She completed her internal medicine residency at Stroger Hospital of Cook County and her geriatric medicine fellowship at University of Michigan. She then returned to Stroger Hospital for practice pathway training in palliative medicine. Outside of work, she and her husband enjoy exploring hiking trails of the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
