Occasionally she runs time-limited groups for adult women survivors of childhood sexual abuse. She believes that the client, therapist, psychiatrist and primary care practitioner are a collaborative team working toward the client’s wellness.
Stephanie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Whitman College and a Masters of Social Work degree from University of Washington. Before joining Valley Medical Center in 1998 she worked for community mental health centers in Western Washington and Alaska, and in the child/adolescent unit of a psychiatric hospital in Eastern Washington. Outside the office you'll find this 2009 Employee of the Month out taking long walks, avidly playing Words With Friends, and in the stands cheering on any of Seattle's professional sports teams.
