Leigh Kalaman, ARNP, approaches her role as a PCP as a partnership with her patients, working with them to reach their healthcare goals. She has a varied nursing background, working in critical care, burns, pediatrics, trauma, long-term care, and school-based nursing before pursuing primary care. She enjoys caring for patients across the lifespan with a special interest in women's health, trauma-informed care, and gender-affirming care.
Along with her clinical interests, she enjoys working in healthcare policy and advocacy. Ms. Kalaman completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Kent State University and then earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) at University of Washington. She completed a Primary Care Residency program through the Veterans Healthcare Administration. She is a board-certified FNP with the American Nurses Credential Center. Outside of work, Leigh enjoys outdoor adventures with her husband and dog, cultivating her houseplant collection, and exploring new dining experiences.
