Dr. Kim was raised in Tacoma, Washington and attended the University of Washington, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology. After college, she pursued a medical degree at Albany Medical College in upstate New York, followed by her Internal Medical residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Her clinical interests and training are in all areas of gastroenterology and hepatology, including colon cancer screening, esophageal disorders, inflammatory bowel disease and liver diseases. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Her hobbies include playing tennis, cooking and traveling and exploring new places with her husband and daughter.
