Dr. Ko, a board-certified ophthalmologist, received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Columbia University in New York City. After Ophthalmology Residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, he completed his two-year fellowship in vitreo-retinal diseases and surgery in one of the top clinical programs in the nation: The Retina Group of Washington and The Georgetown University Hospital/Washington Hospital Center combined program, in Washington, DC. Before opening his clinic in Renton, he practiced in Seattle and Bellevue.
Dr. Ko specializes in vitreo-retinal diseases and surgery such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and retinal detachment. He enjoys outdoor activities as well as gourmet dining with his wife. He is fluent in Chinese.
