Provider Bio

I was raised in Woodinville and completed all my education in the beautiful state of Washington. In eighth grade, I started my own business where I sold handmade floral hair accessories. As my business scaled, I expanded my creations, obtained a business license, and attended University of Washington with hopes to follow a career in entrepreneurship.

After taking a class in biology for my general requirements, I fell in love with the intricacies of molecular biology and decided to shift gears. In my junior year at UW, I started thinking of the vulnerability and fleeting nature of health after a personal health scare. This prompted me to explore my own feelings about life and death and lead me into volunteering at my local hospice. Here, I found my passion for medicine. I continued to explore hospice care and started working at the University of Washington Medical Center and volunteering at my Mosque’s free pop-up clinic. After completing my B.S. in Molecular Biology and Interdisciplinary Honors, I started my medical school journey at Pacific Northwest University in Yakima, WA and immediately emersed myself in leadership as class president. I enjoyed expanding my communication skills, advocating for students, and learning more about what it takes to be a leader throughout my four years at PNWU.

Through these experiences, I found that caring for people as they face the complexities of health allows for one of the deepest connections we have as human beings. This prompted me into a passion for family medicine and end-of-life care. I am grateful to train in the region I grew up in and I look forward to establishing lifelong connections with my patients here at Valley Medical Center.

The beauty of the Evergreen state propelled me into an obsession for plants. I love taking care of all my houseplants and learning about botany. My husband, Ali, and I enjoy visiting botanical gardens, artisan coffee shops, and smothering our cat, Burfi, with cuddles.
