Kenneth Igbalode, MD, is a board-certified physician in the fields of internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, and interventional cardiology. His practice includes the treatment and management of coronary artery disease, hypertensive heart disease, congestive heart failure, dyslipidemia/high cholesterol, peripheral arterial disease, and valvular heart disease. His procedural skillset encompasses the spectrum of invasive cardiovascular procedures including percutaneous coronary interventions, peripheral vascular interventions, transcatheter aortic valve replacement and mechanical circulatory support. He is a committee member of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Intervention (SCAI) and has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). He completed his medical education at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas with subsequent post-graduate/residency training in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. During his time in Boston his fascination and interest bloomed in the field of cardiology, ultimately leading to his pursuit of further specialty fellowship training in cardiovascular diseases at the well-regarded Texas Heart Institute in Houston, Texas. Dr. Igbalode is a native Houstonian and has finally followed his dream of practicing in the Pacific Northwest. During his spare time, his hobbies include reading, snowboarding, weight training, table-tennis, hiking and completing his travel bucket-list of major league baseball stadiums across the country. He is excited for the privilege and opportunity to help improve the cardiovascular care of his patients at UW Medicine Valley Medical Center.
