Jeannie Hu, MD, is a board-certified adult, adolescent, and child psychiatrist who completed her medical training at UNC Chapel Hill in 2002. After working with adolescents in a state hospital in Virginia, Dr. Hu relocated to the Pacific NW where she worked for 15 years in private practice in Renton. At that time she specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of various mental disorders among children and adolescents. Her preferred mode of treatment includes a combination of psychodynamic psychotherapy and medication management. She also serves as the consulting psychiatrist for the King County Sexual Assault Resource Center.
