J. Taylor Gabriel, MD is a hospitalist with special interests in critical care, population health, and the blossoming role of technology in medicine. He places a strong emphasis on empowering his patients to be the primary drivers of their health and wellbeing.
Dr. Gabriel grew up in Texas, attending St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas prior to completing his medical degree at University of Texas at Houston. He then moved to Portland, OR to complete his residency in internal medicine at Legacy Health and is board-certified in internal medicine. Feeling at home in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Gabriel’s favorite activities include hiking, camping, and bicycling – especially when joined by his family and their adorable poodle.
