Michelle Farber, CNM, ARNP, enjoys providing reproductive health and birth care for people from menarche to menopause and beyond. She has a passion for working with all families as they move through the childbearing years. Michelle has a special passion and training in miscarriage care, pregnancy after loss, and providing care for LGBTQ families. As a queer provider herself, she recognizes needing a space that is not only affirming but celebratory to grow our families and receive reproductive health care. In addition to normal pregnancy and birth, she also specializes in contraception and family planning.
Michelle graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor’s degree in medical anthropology. She then pursued her nurse-midwifery training at Seattle University and completed her program of study in 2013. Since graduating, she has worked in a variety of settings from reproductive health and abortion care to labor and birth, office gynecology and higher risk pregnancies. She is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives and the National Association of Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners. In her free time, she can often be found trail running and backpacking in the central Cascades or playing t-ball with her son.
