Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Michele Despreaux, MD, FACP brings more than twenty years’ experience caring for patients with complex medical conditions. Her special interest in caring for seniors includes aging issues such as memory loss, frailty, osteoporosis, diabetes and hypertension.

“I chose internal medicine as a field because it gives me the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to many different types of patients,” says Dr. Despreaux. “I listen to my patients and partner with them to meet their health needs, giving everyone personal and individualized care.”

A Fellow of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Despreaux held the Chief Residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital (affiliated with Yale Medical School) while training in Internal Medicine. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed her undergraduate degree with Highest Honors from University of Virginia. For more than 20 years, she shared her passion for the profession by teaching residents and medical students at University of Washington.

In her free time, Dr. Despreaux enjoys watching her sons play sports and volunteering at their schools. In addition to boating and fishing in the Puget Sound, she likes to read, cook and spend time with good friends.
