Neetu Cheema, MD, appreciates the many roles a woman has in her life such as mother, daughter, wife, professional, homemaker, and caregiver. She provides compassionate care and delivering quality care through excellent patient relationships is always her top priority.

Dr. Cheema grew up in Ellensburg Washington and is a graduate of Central Washington University. Here she was awarded a four-year full academic scholarship and was the recipient of the CWU College of Sciences Excellence in Academics and Leadership Award. She received her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine where she organized and taught a course which united graduate and professional students in the health sciences to become aware of issues faced by underserved populations to healthcare. She completed her residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas Nevada. During her training she was awarded the Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Award presented by the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL). She was recognized on the Residency Honor Roll every year of her training.

She has given several oral, video, and poster presentations at national conferences. She is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and Washington State Obstetricians and Gynecologists Association. She is certified in the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery Program which is endorsed by the American College of Surgeons and Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.

Dr. Cheema is committed to patient education and promoting wellness. She strives to provide kind, patient-centered, and evidence-based care. She is interested in high and low risk obstetrics, well woman care via annual exam, and treatment of cervical pathology, abnormal bleeding, menopausal symptoms, STDs, and ovarian/uterine masses.

Dr. Cheema is fluent in Punjabi and Hindi. She is trained in classical Indian music and spends time each year volunteering in India in women’s healthcare. Away from work she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, cooking, and going to the gym.
