Lindsay Canning, DNP, ARNP, CNM, joined Valley in May 2023. She enjoys interacting with patients and developing relationships throughout their care. She feels privileged and honored to be able to interact with and empower her patients in this setting. Her goal is to ensure that all patients feel heard, informed, and supported. Lindsay is thrilled to be a part of the High-Risk Screening and Genetics Clinic at Valley.
Lindsay is a native Pacific Northwesterner as she grew up in McMinnville, Oregon. She then obtained her nurse practitioner degree at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee before moving back to the great PNW. She worked for several years in women’s health before completing her doctoral program in nurse midwifery at University of Washington in 2019. Lindsay holds a national certification with the American Midwifery Certification Board. Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. They enjoy an active lifestyle together with soccer, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and climbing as some of their favorite activities.
