James Chen, M.D., specializes in Abdominal Imaging and Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Chen is certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a member of the American College of Radiology. Dr. Chen joined Vantage Radiology in 2003.

Dr. Chen was born and raised in Virginia. He attended medical school at the University of Florida, College of Medicine, and completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Emory University School of Medicine in Georgia. Dr. Chen did a fellowship in abdominal imaging at Wake Forest University, School of Medicine in North Carolina.
