Provider Bio

Naomi Belayneh, DNP, ARNP, she enjoys working with both older adults and the under-served, with the goal of maximizing their quality of life. She is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center specializing in Geriatrics/Gerontology. Ms. Belayneh completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) as an Adult-Gerontology nurse practitioner at the University of Washington. During her DNP studies, she was awarded a traineeship through the grant-supported Comprehensive Geriatric Education Program and has been inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Ms. Belayneh received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Washington and obtained her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) from Seattle University.

Prior to joining UW Medicine | Valley Medical Center, Ms. Belayneh practiced complex care management for older adults with acute and chronic disease. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her family. She is fluent in both English and Amharic.
