Caroline Boerwinkle, MD, is dedicated to practicing patient-centered, evidence-based care in an approachable environment. She has clinical interests in abnormal bleeding and uterine fibroids, obstetric care for non-traditional families, and hereditary cancer syndromes. She offers minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries including both traditional and robotic-assisted laparoscopy, and is certified in the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery Program which is endorsed by the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Boerwinkle also provides the full spectrum of general Ob/Gyn care including contraception counseling, preventive and screening visits, routine obstetric care, and menopause management.
Dr. Boerwinkle grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated from Baylor College of Medicine. She completed her residency at University of Chicago before moving to Washington. When not caring for her patients, she enjoys spending time on the water, eating copious amounts of seafood, and cheering on the Seattle Storm.
