Provider Bio

Samira Adan, DNP, ARNP, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care for patients across the lifespan. She enjoys partnering with patients to prevent illness, manage acute and chronic conditions, and achieve their health goals. Her clinical interests include preventive care, women’s health, chronic disease management, and health promotion. Samira believes in building trusting relationships with patients and working collaboratively to develop care plans that reflect each person's unique needs and values.

Samira earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Seattle University and completed a Family Nurse Practitioner residency at Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Tacoma. During her residency, she cared for patients of all ages and completed specialty rotations in gynecology, cardiology, nephrology, endocrinology, and orthopedics. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a registered nurse at Valley Medical Center.

Outside of work, Samira enjoys traveling, studying Islamic sciences, staying active, and spending time with family and friends. She values learning about different cultures and has traveled to several countries throughout the Middle East and Africa.
