I was born and bred in Washington. The first years of my life were spent in Skyway before my family moved to Maple Valley. I attended Western Washington University and studied Exercise and Sport Science. Then I ventured to Vallejo, Calif. (in the Bay area) to Touro University for medical school and also received a Master's in Public Health.
After medical school, I completed a Residency in Family Medicine here at Valley Medical Center, then completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of New Mexico.
My interests in medicine are ever-expanding. At the top of my list are using exercise and nutrition as fundamentals to a long and healthy life, as well as the non-surgical aspects of Sports and Musculoskeletal Medicine. I have a special interest in musculoskeletal injuries, concussions and non-operative treatments for osteoarthritis.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my lovely wife, son, dog, family and friends. You can always find me outdoors in my free time running, biking, hiking, playing any and all sports that I can and cheering on the Seahawks, Huskies, Sounders (and Mariners when they are good).
