"Dr. Nguyen was the attending ED physician for a difficult patient resuscitation event, and during that event, he was collaborative, supportive of staff and the patient and their family, and ensured the team had full awareness of the plan and interventions. While the resuscitation did not result in the outcome hoped, he worked with the ED team to maintain dignity for the patient and family and take time to check in with staff as well. It was an emotional process and he helped guide the family through the interventions the team was performing in a understandable and kind manner."
