Which conditions does the Psychiatry & Counseling Clinic treat?

Our providers see adult patients (age 18+) with a wide variety of mental health conditions, including:

  • Clinical Depression
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder
  • Social Anxiety
  • Panic disorders and phobias
  • ADD/ADHD
  • Marriage and family issues
  • Grief and loss
  • Life transition and growth issues
  • Relationship issues
  • Dealing with serious medical conditions

What treatments are included at the Psychiatry & Counseling Clinic?

Our providers offer the following treatment options for patients:

  • Diagnostic evaluation and medication management for ongoing psychiatric services (some exclusions apply, see below for details)
  • Outpatient counseling

What conditions and treatments are NOT included at the Psychiatry & Counseling Clinic?

The following services are not provided at the Psychiatry & Counseling Clinic:

  • Borderline Personality Disorder
  • Certain medication therapies:
    • Disulfiram (Antabuse), ketamine, naltrexone (Vivitrol), clozapine (Clozaril), MAOIs, and injectable long-acting antipsychotics (LAI) are not prescribed by our providers
  • Neuromodulation treatment, including TMS and ECT for mood disorders.
  • Treatment for patients with active substance use disorder
  • Assessments and counseling for eating disorders, dissociative disorders, traumatic brain injury, dementia/neurodegenerative disorders (including Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, etc.)
  • Psychological assessments for developmental disorders, including autism

When you refer a patient to us, our intake specialists discuss their needs with them in detail to determine the level of mental health care they will need and match them with one of our providers. If we determine with them that their needs would be best met with an alternative mental health resource (such as a partial hospital program), we will provide them with the appropriate referrals and contact information. We understand that mental health care is complex, and we are happy to assist getting your patients to the best resource to meet their needs.

Please note: we are not contracted with Cigna for mental health services. We accept all other major insurances.
