Recognition for Uday Mehta, MD

Dr. Uday Mehta has dedicated 17 years to Valley Medical Center carrying out our mission to caring for other as family. He started his career here at Valley Medical Center in 1997 where he did a short stint starting at Highlands Urgent Care and Newcastle Primary Care. He just could not stay away from Valley and returned in 2007 where he then was at Newcastle Urgent Care and eventually came to Covington Urgent Care where he continued caring for each patient as if they were his own family member.

Colleagues and staff speak about Dr. Mehta in a valuable way. He has contributed in so many ways to Valley through his tenure here. He is truly a kind and respectful provider and coworker. He has caught many critical diagnoses in UC with the thoroughness of his care and his determination to truly provide the best care possible for patients. Thank you for always having the patient’s best interest at heart.

Although this adventure has come to a close, a new and bright adventure begins. Dr. Mehta looks forward to starting his retirement off right by going to Antarctica where he looks forward to a 40-day adventure with no cell phone service. From everyone here at Covington Urgent Care, it has been a pleasure working with you! You will be greatly missed.
