Recognition for Elisabeth Golden, ARNP
Elisabeth Golden has been with Valley Medical Center since 2007. Her entire tenure here she has been at Covington Primary Care serving patients of all ages. Elisabeth has developed deep relationships with her patients and colleagues over the years and will leave a lasting impression in those that she has had the privilege in providing care to and working with.
A colleague could have not said it better-- "Elisabeth Golden has been my esteemed colleague, proficient medical provider and most importantly my cherished friend since 2007 when she joined me at Covington Primary Care. She has diligently worked for her patients, friends, family and community all this with strength of character, empathy and intelligence. I cannot easily describe her most special quality as it is so hard to define. She will selflessly take on the burdens of the world. She will work so incredibly hard to help all those around her. She takes on everything: from patients' pain to dreams and back. Elisabeth does this all with a smile, a sense of humor, and a strength that is unable to be defined."
She served on our Quality Committee for years because that is what she signifies: quality. Everything she does, she does with thought and dignity for all of those around her. She will be missed by all of us tremendously. However, I will always smile when I think of my friend with her family, community and tropical beaches in her future!
Elisabeth always has a smile on her face, whether we are making her wear a minion shirt for team dress up day, going out in the cold for a fire drill or playing minute to win it during a staff meeting she brings joy and light to our day.
Colleagues and patients alike describe Elisabeth as caring, kind, helpful. Someone you can count on. There is no one that compares to Elisabeth. No one that can replace her as a co-worker or provider. Her compassion for others is something remarkable.
