On April 22 we had a pipe elbow failure in our Emergency Department (ED) causing a significant water leak. Crews are assessing the impact and we are in the process of water abatement. Our ED is open, but several rooms are currently offline which could increase wait times. Some surgeries are also being rescheduled.

In unison with the Great ShakeOut movement Valley is planning two earthquake drills.

Thurs Oct 19, 1130-1600
• We are looking for 15-20 volunteers to act as patients (makeup and history will be provided).
• Volunteers who are acting as patients must arrive 1 hour prior to start time for makeup and direction.
• Volunteers MUST contact the event coordinator, Kate Bendickson, Trauma Services Coordinator, by Oct. 12 for approval and more information (Note: space is limited).
