"Amy was part of the midwifery team that started at Valley in September 2006. Throughout the years, she has remained at VMC as a dedicated, committed and exceptional employee/midwife/provider. Her patients love her because she is straightforward and honest, yet has an empathetic communication style. She always puts their needs first and will step forward and volunteer to cover a clinic or call if someone is ill. This has been especially evident during the last few years when the loss of our clinic, our director, and some of our midwives made trying to cover the schedule very difficult. Amy not only filled most of the extra call shifts, she stepped up to take on some of the administrative roles as well. She is admired, trusted and genuinely liked by the midwives, doctors and nurses who work with her. She is a treasure of a human being and I strongly believe it is time she was recognized as a provider of the month."

"Amy is the most compassionate selfless person. Not only is Amy amazing with her patients, she has done so much to help the midwives clinic during COVID and lots of big transitions. She stays late, starts early and pick up lots of extra call shifts. Anything she can do to ensure patients and staff are number one priority. Amy is such a pleasure to work with and just such a wonderful woman."
