Children's Therapy Services Transition

On June 7 it was announced that due to significant and unsustainable financial challenges, several clinics and services would be closing. Children's Therapy was unfortunately one of them. Since that time, a pillar in our local community for pediatric care has stepped forward to help ensure Children's Therapy operations not only continue but are enhanced by the wraparound services and support available for pediatric patients and their families.

I am thrilled to announce that Mary Bridge Children's has agreed to join forces with Children's Therapy and integrate them into their operations. Our current patients, equipment and space will continue in the same location they currently occupy, and the staff will be welcomed to the Mary Bridge Children's team. We will be working closely with Mary Bridge Children's over the next two months to make this transition as seamless as possible for our staff and patients.

Mary Bridge Children's and MultiCare operate several facilities in our service area with wraparound services and support for pediatric patients and their families. I believe this alignment will benefit our patients and provide long-term stability for the program. This transition will be an excellent realignment into a robust pediatric system of care. I am excited for what the future holds for our staff and the patients served here.
