"Dr Kaminski is an excellent Doctor, who gives 110% to his patients and his teams. He is very dedicated to serving our Community like Family. His patients love him, as he takes the time to listen, care and heal with them. He is not only an extraordinary doctor, but also an extraordinary human being! He will be retiring at the end of June, and will be missed tremendously, but has definitely put his time in providing care and his patients health outcomes are the true testaments."

Valley’s Medical Staff Tom Giuliano Award
A member of Valley's medical staff for 33 years, Ron Cohen, MD, was a Clinic Network founding physician who has led Valley's Behavioral Health Services since his arrival.
Respected for his intelligence, humor, and vast knowledge, Dr. Cohen works tirelessly to help our patients in need of mental health services. His commitment to providing the highest quality care in his clinic is admired by his colleagues. His clinic partners also say that he is equally committed to positive morale in the clinic.
Dr. Cohen is also the champion of physician wellness. Founding the Physician Satisfaction and Wellness Committee six years ago, his efforts led to Valley receiving the Washington State Medical Association's Apple Award, which honors organizations working to put the joy back in medicine for Washington physicians. The award recognized Valley's committee for its efforts since 2016 to integrate clinician wellness activities across the organization.
About the Medical Staff Tom Giuliano Award
The VMC Medical Staff Tom Giuliano Award is presented annually in honor of Tom Giuliano, who served on the VMC staff for 25 years. His persistence in caring for his patients, his family and himself in the face of hardship is inspirational. His balanced outlook on life was highly valued among his peers and his good humor is sorely missed. The award is presented to a Valley Medical Center Medical Staff member whose life and practice best captures the spirit of Dr. Giuliano.
