Race in Medicine | September 15, 2021 at 12:30-1:30 PM | Naomi Shike, MD, MSc, UW Medicine

2. Identify the pitfalls of use of race as a variable in medicine.
3. Use "race" to illuminate the underpinnings of inequity while avoiding uses that perpetuate the harmful idea that race is a reasonable surrogate for biology.
