9/9/2021
Author: Matt Mulder, MD, SVP, Chief Medical Director, Ambulatory Services

These classes are open to all medical staff, and are being conducted virtually by Wallace Wilkins, Ph.D. VMC has had a number of engagements with Dr. Wilkins, and our experience with him has always been good. Wally is great at providing insight into why we do what we do and is good at providing simple to use tools to help us improve in communication areas where we have challenges.

Class 1: Navigating Change, Turmoil, Surprises & Setbacks with Resilience | Sep. 14 at 7:00 AM | via Zoom

Change and turmoil provide opportunities for advancement—if you know how to navigate. In this seminar, you’ll identify a simple, mindful formulation to deal with any situation gracefully. Prevent burn-out—or even getting crispy. By identifying and practicing fresh perspectives, you can engage change, reduce negativity and move on to greater success.

  • If you have not yet registered using the online form and would like to attend, contact Angelina_Blackburn@valleymed.org.

  • Already registered? Here is the workbook that Dr. Wilkins will be reviewing during the presentation. He recommends that you print this out in advance, as it contains writing exercises. This presentation will be interactive, you are invited and welcome to have your camera and microphones on so you can participate and chime in.
Note: Classes 2, 3, and 4 are being rescheduled with new dates in October-December. An email will be sent with this information to medical staff.
