Masks REQUIRED for ALL Staff and Patients at ALL times, Regardless of Vaccination Status
The
Public Health Recommendations for Fully Vaccinated People has allowed for loosening of restrictions around masking and social distancing for the vaccinated public, however the document clearly states, "The following recommendations apply to non-healthcare settings."
The
CDC's latest guidelines for patients and visitors in healthcare settings clearly state that masking and social distancing are required for visitors at all times in healthcare settings. "Visitors, regardless of their vaccination status, should wear a well-fitting cloth mask, facemask, or respirator for source control."
The CDC's latest guidelines for healthcare personnel clearly state that masking and social distancing are required at all times while in a healthcare setting. "HCP should wear well-fitting source control at all times while they are in the healthcare facility, including in breakrooms or other spaces where they might encounter co-workers."
We understand that it has been very difficult to maintain these standards over the last 15 long months, but we must adhere to the safest evidence-based practices set by the CDC to keep our vulnerable patients safe. Please adhere to these guidelines at all times.
