Jon Neher, MD

Provider of the Month, March 2021

Congratulations to Jon Neher, MD, a physician at Valley Family Medicine and our March 2021 Provider of the Month. Dr. Neher has been a dedicated physician educator with the Valley Family Medicine residency program for more than 30 years. Many of the residents Dr. Neher trained over the years have remained a part of the Valley Medical Center family and are now physicians in our primary care clinics. He helped create and build the curriculum at Valley Family Medicine into one that is respected by family medicine residency programs throughout the United States. As one of his nominators writes, "He has pursued academic excellence through an abundance of scholarly publications and championing the cause of evidence-based medicine, bringing honor and distinction to Valley Family Medicine, Valley Medical Center, and the University of Washington." ​

Dr. Neher is well respected by his patients, his faculty partners, the clinic staff, and many generations of residents who have trained at Valley Family Medicine. Thank you, Dr. Neher, for your dedication to your patients and colleagues.
