These pathways, created for both inpatients and outpatients undergoing a procedure in Valley's OR, Endoscopy suites, SPCU or Cardiovascular Interventional areas, were updated to help close any gaps that could occur related to COVID clearance and COVID+ test results. The primary goal is to continue to create the safest possible environment for staff and patients.

The pathway updates address:

• Pre-procedure assessment
• Patients who have tested COVID+
• COVID+ patients who are between 10 and 20 days post-test AND scheduled for a procedure
• Updated dot phrases: .COVIDPOSITIVESURGICALCLEARANCE and .COVIDPREOPSURGICALCLEARANCE
